Lamplight was originally developed in 2004 for a small youth project in South Kilburn. They needed a simple system to record their case work day-to-day and to simplify their reporting. Soon a number of other organisations in and around London were using the system and we began to develop it further in response to their needs.
Now Lamplight is used by organisations from Truro to Edinburgh, Ceredigion to Guernsey. It is used by youth projects, faith groups, mental health charities, women's groups, employment and skills organisations, community groups and many many more.
Our aim is to make your monitoring and administration as effective and effortless as possible so you can concentrate on what really matters: your service users.
We believe that IT solutions can and should make your life easier. They should be simple to use, effective and affordable.
A database system should be a powerful tool in helping you deliver your services. It should never be a drain on your time and resources.
