History

Lamplight was originally developed in 2004 for a small youth project in South Kilburn. They needed an easy-to-use system to record their case work day-to-day and to simplify their reporting. Soon a number of other organisations in and around London were using the system and we began to develop it further in response to their needs.

Now Lamplight is used by organisations from Truro to Edinburgh, Ceredigion to Guernsey. It is used by youth projects, faith groups, mental health charities, women's groups, employment and skills organisations, community groups, refugee groups, advocacy and advice services and many many more.
