How to buy:

Because the database is hosted online the initial set up of Lamplight can be both quick and easy. Once we know what your needs are we will send you a web address, user name and password and you will be ready to start using the database.

Customisation

If the system as it stands does not quite suit your needs, modifications in design or functionality can be made. Minor changes (e.g. field names) can be made quickly and you will not be charged for them. Depending on their nature, larger changes will incur an initial cost - please to discuss this further. However, we value the partnership we have with our customers, and many of the newer features have been developed in conjunction with them at no charge.

Training and support

We can offer staff training at your premises, and many of our customers find that after an hour or so they are ready to start using the system. The comprehensive manual, context sensitive help system and getting started guides provide answers to most questions that arise. Most of all, we want to see our customers getting the most from Lamplight, and freeing up their time and resources for more important tasks.

Prices:

Basic hosting fee
The basic fee covers the standard set-up of the system, future upgrades and the hosting of your database on our servers.

Basic secure hosting fee
Sometimes an organisation feels it requires further security measures to safe guard their data. To do this we can host your data on a secure server. This secure setting incurs an additional cost of £5 per month on top of the basic hosting fee.

Communications management module
In addition to the basic system we offer a Communications management module for use in recording communications with your service users. Contact and funders can be grouped in the same way that service users can be grouped in the basic system. Documents can be uploaded to the funders, contacts and service users case files. This fee is in addition to the basic or secure hosting fee.

Training
We provide full training on the system for small groups of operators to help you get the most from the system.

Implementation
Some organisations require some help structuring their data and setting up the system so that they can get the most out of it. We are happy to provide assistance with this if required.

Data migration
We can transfer your existing data from your database to the Lamplight system for you, although there is some facility to do this yourself on the system.

Customisation
Occasionally an organisation will need reports and functions tailor-made for them. We are happy to discuss this further should you need it.

Support
Most organisations find that once they are up and running they need little in the way of technical support with the system. There is a help section in the system which can answer the most frequently asked questions. However, some organisations feel that they require an extra level of personal support. We are happy to discuss a support package to suit you.
