Charging

Make payment management effortless with a Charging Module that delivers flexibility, accuracy, and complete control over your service fees.

This tool automates charging rules, applies discounts, and handles late cancellations with ease. Set who pays and how much and export charges to your finance system.

Keeping track of who should be charged—and how much—can be a real headache, especially when you’re running multiple sessions and juggling limited resources.

The Charging Module takes that pressure off your plate.

How it can help

Smart Payment Management. Whether someone attends or misses a session, the module automatically calculates what’s owed, so you don’t have to calculate the difference or if they’re due a discount.

Instant, Accurate Invoicing. Invoices are generated and stored the moment they’re needed—no delays, no manual entry, just clean records ready to go.

Time-Saving for Your Finance Team. Bulk invoice creation means less admin and more time elsewhere.

Flexible Charging Policies. You’re in control. Set rules for who gets charged and how much, based on your needs and values, potential part-funding from Local Authorities or self-funded.

For example, let’s say you run a wellbeing centre. You offer free training sessions to clients, that are funded per person by a local authority, plus paid counselling sessions available to the public. The Charging Module lets you manage both seamlessly—assigning the right charge to each participant, logging attendance, and keeping your finance team smiling.

It’s not just about money—it’s about clarity, accountability, and making sure your services stay sustainable.

How it works

The Charging Module is about calculating charges for different sessions. There is a great deal of flexibility in how this is done and the payments due can be split between different profiles and organisations. Once payments have been allocated, they can be batched up into invoices which can then be exported as a csv and used for billing and credit control purposes.

The module allows you to set up rules about how much to charge for a particular service or event, and to whom the charge should be allocated (the people attending, an organisation or other funders). It’s flexible and you can choose to include rules for discounts for certain attendees or late cancellation charges.
