How it works
The Communications Module adds more functions and a tab in every profile that keeps a log of the communications.
In addition to core communications capability, the Communications Module lets you:
- Log all communications created in Lamplight in the profiles of the recipients.
- Send mail-merged and non-mail-merged letters, emails, and mailing labels from any list, work record or profile.
- Use templates to set up standard, mail-merged communications.
- Buy SMS credits to send text messages directly from Lamplight.
- Use Lamplight lists to create Mailchimp mailing lists.

Already a Lamplight user?
To enable the module, go to system admin (you must be a system administrator) > your account > add or remove modules > tick the Communications Module box to turn it on in your system. Don’t forget to click ‘update my system’ to ensure it’s activated.
