Lamplight implements MYCaW® and MYMOP® measures

We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Lamplight and Meaningful Measures — bringing the award-winning, NHS-accredited tools MYCaW® (Measure Yourself Concerns and Wellbeing) and MYMOP® (Measure Yourself Medical Outcome Profile) directly into the Lamplight platform.

Meaningful Measures provides innovative person-centred evaluation, audit and research solutions. Their mission is to enable people’s own voices to shape the understanding and improvement of health and wellbeing services around the world.

This integration means that charities and organisations using Lamplight can now seamlessly incorporate these person-centred outcome measures into their existing case-work systems. It’s a major step forward in capturing meaningful data that reflects the real-life concerns and wellbeing of individuals — especially in relation to the social determinants of health.

MYCaW® (Measure Yourself Concerns and Wellbeing) is an individualised outcome measure used for evaluating holistic and person-centred approaches to supporting people. It is a short, validated tool that can be routinely incorporated into a consultation to see where a person most wants support or used in an organisation to improve workplace wellbeing. MYCaW® also data captures social determinants of health.

MYMOP® (Measure Yourself Medical Outcome Profile) is problem specific and individualised measure, which is brief and simple to use. MYMOP® measures capture what patients consider are the two most important symptoms associated with a specific problem and an activity of daily living that is affected by these symptoms. MYMOP® also captures general wellbeing and is therefore applicable to all people who present with symptoms, whether physical, emotional or social.
