At Lamplight, we’re always looking for ways to support the organisations doing vital work in our communities. That’s why we’re delighted to share that by being a member of Nominet, we were able to help one of our long-standing customers, PACT (Parents And Children Together), secure a £9,948 grant through Nominet’s Members’ GiveHub programme.
The Members’ GiveHub is an initiative run by Nominet that enables its members to nominate and apply for grants of up to £10,000 per year on behalf of UK charities and organisations. The programme supports projects that use technology to help create a more connected, inclusive and secure world, reflecting Nominet’s commitment to using technology as a force for good. Since launching in 2022, the GiveHub has awarded funding to dozens of projects benefiting communities across the UK.
We’re incredibly proud to have been able to use our Nominet membership to support PACT in securing this funding. The project aligns closely with the GiveHub’s focus on digital inclusion and creating positive outcomes through technology, and we’re excited to see the resources developed and the difference they will make to adopted young people across the UK.
As Matt Parker, Director of Lamplight, explains:
“We’ve been partnering with PACT for over a decade and know what important, life changing work they do. Trusted, reliable information for vulnerable young people is more important than ever. We’re delighted that Nominet members will be supporting adopted young people to produce these resources for other adopted young people: the information they need, in a relatable form.”
PACT’s CEO, Natausha van Vliet, welcomed the award:
“We are incredibly grateful to Nominet’s GiveHub, and to Lamplight, for this generous grant of £9,948. This funding will enable PACT to create vital, trauma-informed digital resources with and for adopted young people, helping them feel understood, build resilience and thrive. Thank you for recognising the importance of this work and for making a lasting difference in young lives.
